The charging adapter is specially designed to charge electric vehicles, such as electric bicycles, scooters and other vehicles. This is done via a NEMA 5-1516A plug in combination with charging stations with a J1772 Type 1 socket.

The adapter sends the signals "car connected" and "car ready to charge" to the charging station. This activates the charging station and allows charging via the NEMA 5-15 socket of the charging adapter.

1. Connect to the charging station

Start by connecting the charging adapter to the J1772 socket of the charging station. Make sure the adapter is firmly and fully inserted into the wall socket to ensure a good connection.

2. Connect to your device

Connect the AC plug of your vehicle to the charging adapter. Check that the plug is properly secured to ensure a stable and safe charging connection.

3. Activate the charging station

Use a payment card, charging card or a switch (if applicable) to activate the charging station. The charging station will now start supplying power via the charging adapter to your vehicle.
