The CCS is next up in the list, or Combined Charging System. And that's what makes the CCS connector unique, it supports both AC and DC fast charging. That's a smaller DC plug sited below what resembles the J1772 connector The connector can be used for either level 2 charging or DC fast charge, so it is quite flexible. The CCS connector is very common in Europe and the US, so expect to see it frequently if you look around for chargers.

One well-known EV-manufacturer, Tesla, has even developed its own connector called the Tesla-connector. DC CHAdeMO connector, which appears to the J1772 but with an extended and thinner DC plug below. This can be used for level 2 and dc fast charging, but its incompatible with any other car unfortunately (Tesla connector) This particular connector is what you will have to use in case you own a Tesla car, if that's the case.
