Type 2 to domestic socket

Compact adapter with a Type 2 connector (Mennekes) on one side and a standard European domestic socket (16A Schuko type or Type F) on the other side.

Thanks to this convenient adapter, you benefit from having a domestic European Type F socket from any Type 2 charging station.
More simply, this Metron adapter converts the socket of a Type2 charging station to a normal domestic socket in order to connect
any vehicle or device equipped with a standard European plug (Schuko).
It allows to power vehicles or devices that are made to recharge on domestic plugs (like Renault Twizy, Citroën AMI, Opel Rocks-e, NOSMOKE, e-motorbikes like Zero motorcycles, e-ATVs, e-scooters, e-bikes, etc.). It is also suitable for electric public maintenance vehicles of cities and municipalities like street sweepers or any other light maintenance vehicle that charge on domestic socket.

This device includes a temperature protection against overheating of the domestic plug (Schuko). It can therefore be used even for electrical consumption’s of 3 kW.
It is designed to operate on the charging station having a Type 2 socket.
