Type 2 to Universal adapter: type 2 EV adapter is compatible with type 2 chargers, type 2 charging cables and type 2 charging stations according to IEC 62196 and converts type 2 sockets into universal AC sockets.

1. Connect to the charging station
Start by connecting the charging adapter to the Type 2 socket of the charging station. Make sure the adapter is firmly and fully inserted into the wall socket to ensure a good connection.
2. Connect to your device
Connect the AC plug of your vehicle to the charging adapter. Check that the plug is properly secured to ensure a stable and safe charging connection.
3. Activate the charging station
Use a payment card, charging card or a switch (if applicable) to activate the charging station. The charging station will now start supplying power via the charging adapter to your vehicle.
Charging adapter/ transition from type 2 (Mennekes) to standard socket (universal) for older electric vehicles, MC cars and the like that can only be charged from a normal socket (mode 1). Also practical if you only have a type 2 connector ad what to connect work tools like a vacuum cleaner. If you have an electric vehicle with a type 1 or type 2 charging connector, mode 3 charging cables must be used.
