Hardware: Plug the BYD V2L Discharge Adapter (Type 2 to Schuko adapter) into the BYD car's charging port until it clicks into place.
Activation: On the BYD central touchscreen, navigate to the Energy Management or Charging menu and enable the "VTOL" (Vehicle to Load) or "Discharge" switch.
Physical Switch: Our BYD adapters also have a physical power button on the socket strip that turns red when power is active.
Locking: The BYD V2L adapter will lock to the vehicle just like a charging cable. To remove it, you must stop the discharge on the screen and unlock the car via the key fob.
